Asked this question before but didn't provide enough info. Consequently got advice I didn't need. I want to know if common table salt is an effective weedkiller.
I have an unlimited supply to table and rock salt. I want to kill weeds in an area which will eventually be paved. I do not intend to do any gardening or grow anything in the soil ever again. Will table salt kill everything green or will rain just wash it away? And if so, how come costal areas always have greenery / wild grasses?
There are Absolutely no plants nearby, only potted trees. The area has no adjoining property with gardens.
