Please take a good look at this GCSE English Descriptive Writing piece:
A few moments later, a black shadowy figure of massiveness and intimidation gradually emerged from the small top-left corner of the room. The room which was filled with bags of warmth and joy was now dangerously overshadowed by the appearance of this dubious-looking figure. The figure stayed there for a brief period pensively before illustrating signs of bad intentions through the gentle but meaningful movements of his thumb on his left hand in a reversing motion of backwards and forwards. The sustainment of silence progressed towards breaking point, as the figure?s breath gathered pace with the addition of heaviness. BOOM! Suddenly, as expected, a dramatic voice was released from the direction of the figure resulting in the swift diffraction of low-pitched waves all across the room. The waves reflected amongst the walls inducing several echoes full of bursting energy. The disruption of silence shaped the beginning for a phase of ceaseless tension and argument.
?Why are you here?? the man gently asked the teenager whose face purely showed the colour red across his cheeks and forehead. The teenager?s face lightened considerably as the soft, smooth and appealing voice of the man drifted through his ears. The man?s looks were now clear with his big brown eyes and short black hair; not quite as scary and bold as he seemed at first sight. The teenager?s sheer relief acted on his heart rate as a friction force, slowing it down in a firmly steady manner; more than enough relief to even pave way for a hint of sunshine on his lips which were immensely tightened until this point. ?Why are you smiling?? asked the man wonderingly. The teenager gives himself time to think, he then reassures himself on what he is considering to say before uttering ?Why shouldn?t I smile?? almost assertively. Silence had come back. The man?s face enriched in negativity with his eyebrows being raised and brownish eyes being widened significantly.
