How can I get rid of garden ants that have taken over my lawn and pathways. While mowing the lawn I ran over 5x anthills, frm which it seemed thousands of the tiny critters emerged. They have even gone under my paveslabs and excavated the sand that was under them. I had a look for ant killer stuff but they were really expensive and for the amount I would need it would cost me dearly. Does anyone know of any surefire way of getting rid of them before they get into my home? Many Thanks for your help.
