My garden is all paved but every summer I notice these little red things running around the garden. Although they're only the size of a full stop there's hundreds of the little blighter's and it's getting to the stage where I'm not wanting to go into my garden they're also all over my wall but thankfully not in my house. However I cannot see where they're coming from. To cover my garden with ant powder would take too many cans of ant killer and cost too much. Also digging up the paving slabs would be too much hard work and it wouldn't guarantee to cure the problem. I've also tried using bleach and pressure washing the slabs (they just come back for more) I'm at my wits end with them.
It's not just my garden but they're all over. I hand out booklets and leaflets all the gardens on the surrounding estates are "infested" with these red dot bug things
No this problem's been occurring for the past 3 years so it's not really a case of killed their predators this year we haven't done anything about them.
