From 70 A.D. until 1948, the Jewish people had no homeland. In 1948 the nation of Israel was reborn. However, the Temple Mount was still held by the nation of Jordan. When the temple area was recaptured in 1967, the Jews wept. The joy of the Jewish people was quickly dashed to pieces. A few hours after the recapture, Moshe Dayan, the Defence Minister of Israel, announced that the Temple Mount would remain under Arab control. The rejoicing of the Jews was turned to sorrow, This action to religious Jews was absolutely beyond comprehension. Jews still cannot go to the Temple Mount area to pray, to offer sacrifices, and, above all, to build their Third Temple. This temple will be rebuilt very soon. There are many organisations right now who have almost all the temple instruments and materials pre-made for the day when they will rebuild the temple.
The rebuilding of the Temple holds profound prophetic significance, equal to the appearance of the Antichrist or the forming of the pagan armies to invade Israel in the coming War of Gog and Magog. While many students of biblical prophecy have debated the role that will be played by the Third Temple in end-times developments, the Scriptures make it clear that just before Christ returns, the Third Temple of God must stand again on the original location on the Temple Mount.
But how can the 3rd temple be built on temple mount when The Dome of the Rock and the Al Aqsa mosque are there?
Will they need to be demolished to make way for the Temple to be re-built as prophesied?
Would the World support such actions?
If the World would not support such an undertaking then, what if they were destroyed due to a huge bomb being detonated there,....thus paving the way for the temple being built?
